Virtualbox Linux 32 Bit Only

Fix: VirtualBox showing only 32 bit but not showing 64-bit on a 64 bit Windows 10 Host machine. Even though your operating system is 64-bit, VirtualBox somet. To that end I installed Oracle Virtualbox 6.1.16 via a.deb file from Oracle's own website (20.10 didn't have an explicitly compatible version so I downloaded the build for 20.04 LTS). When I open it and try to create a new VM, I'm only offered 32-bit options: Virtualbox only shows me 32-bit options. There are two issues here. You either have Hyper-V turned on, or have Intel Virtualization Technology disabled in BIOS. If you have one of those settings configured as mentioned, this is the reason why you are only seeing 32-bit guest operating systems available when create a new virtual machine. Step One – Turn Off Hyper-V.
